I wonder if those of us nocturnal human beings/gamers are going to be hindered or roadblocked in Pokemon Pokopia by what seems to be real-world day-night cycles. By the time I started playing today I got about 20 mins of daylight before nightfall. 😬 Day gaming is a rare thing for me.

How are the rest of you feeling about Requiem? No spoilers of course. I’m currently exploring the next major area after you leave the care facility. Still a bit to go for me I suspect.
I think RE Requiem might have made me a big RE fan again. I’ve greatly enjoyed every mainline game in the series (haven’t played 6, tho), and I think the recent remakes rock, but I haven’t felt invested in the world, story, and combat to this degree since REmake and Code Veronica. Feels good.
I hope the Switch 2 continues to sell well, and I hope these Capcom day-and-date big-budget releases (RE Requiem, Pragmata, Monster Hunter Stories 3) also sell well on the console and justify more releases like this in the future.

I need your help.
A lack of continuity medical care has created a real mess. I have a strong grasp on what’s happening to my body, and it’s unconventional due to years of neglect and the resulting impact. I need to find a doc that understands that, will listen, and may be able to connect some dots.
I’ll try to come up with a simple overview and send something your way. Just please let whoever you talk to know I’m leaving a lot out to make sure I hit the key points. There’s SO much that’s happened to get me here. I don’t want to overwhelm with the “how” up front, but I can explain later.
But I gotta resist the venting and try to rest for a bit. To those of you who read the posts and even give it a few moments thought, thank you. You’ve done more than most and I genuinely appreciate it.
I’m so defeated – so disrespected & disregarded. I continue to wait for a meaningful convo with somebody in medicine who gives a damn, and it’s not happening. My current primary is happy to shrug, call me a “medical mystery,” and then quickly have me on my way so I don’t hold up the revolving door.
Hopefully something comes of it, even if it simply helps me make any meaningful step forward. I’m just wasting my life and I couldn’t be less happy about it. I still have a tube that needs to come out of my abdomen but it needs to be done right – I’ve almost died on two occasions from mishandling.
I know it’s the worst time to post the medical post but my schedule isn’t aligning with the majority of people who follow me, so I’m posting now and I’ll repost it tomorrow if I’m coherent during normal people hours. I didn’t get to say all I really needed to say, but I had to cut it there for now.
Maybe you can’t think of anybody immediately. Maybe at this moment you don’t think you know anybody. But please, consider it. Please ask around. I don’t know how much more time there is to get out of this intact, but regardless, I’m holding on to hope. Thanks for reading and for any potential help.
I need a chance to live again. I need a doc to trust the details – trust me about what they can’t see when we talk. I need ideas. I need knowledge. I need it to find help ASAP. I’ve been fighting without faltering for about a decade, but now I’m losing the energy and capability. I’m desperate.
But I don’t want to get deep into symptoms here. I don’t want a lack of context to cause confusion. For now, know that it’s complicated, I’m confident, and I’ve had no intervention or assistance since my spleen was wrongfully removed in 2017, which was when this went from concerning to debilitating.
I’m taking this chance because I can’t stabilize my body or move safely. Movement eventually leads to specific areas of my body shifting out of place, and then muscles & vascular sorta get caught/snagged on contortions causing more damage, instability, and pain. But until I move? Almost no symptoms.
My docs almost unanimously agree that it’s not a known disease, and most agree it’s not a disease at all, which I’ve suspected for about a decade. But they continue to toss me around like a live grenade, and nobody is tracking the details of my case beyond fixations on selective symptoms/conditions.
Trust me, if I hadn’t tried it all and run out of options, I wouldn’t be doing this. But I haven’t been able to discuss my daily symptoms (even when observable & objective) with a doc in recent years without swift dismissal and the insistence I revisit the same specialists I’ve seen many times.
Do any of you know a doctor personally, whether an experienced primary or somebody in ortho-musculoskeletal, who I could chat with about what’s going on? I need help identifying muscle & connective tissue that, if damaged, would allow my body to do what it’s doing. A short call could change my life.

It didn’t help that my next story mission was locked behind a side mission I didn’t know I activated that required waiting on some minerals to be auto-unearthed before I could move on.
Past that now and navigating the excess much easier. Exploration and combat really is satisfying in this series.
Feels like a bunch of overlapping, unfocused things happening at once and I have no idea how to find a healthy rhythm. And I’m not new to Xenoblade.
I was waiting for Xenoblade Chronicles X to get that Switch 2 upgrade, so now that it’s out I’ve been playing the game.
I have no idea what I’m doing.
I can’t remember the last time I played a game and felt so overwhelmed and confused by the objectives, the systems, and UI navigation.
Sadly no. I wish.
I can understand that. I only check in once or twice a day, usually for short periods. (Though to be fair, I might be less responsible about it if my health didn’t play a factor in keeping me away.) Honestly, I mostly rely on social to keep up with news and game sales.
Might save this post for Monday even though I could use it out ASAP. Seems like visibility/interaction is low on the weekend, at least from personal experience. Plus, I don’t seem to get much interaction on Bluesky anyway, which sucks because I don’t want to post in the other place.

I haven’t been able to play my Virtual Boy yet, but when I get to it, if there’s any sort of afterlife, I hope my grandma can see me obliterating her high score in Galactic Pinball. I dunno what her score was anymore without checking the old cart, so I’ll just have to aim so high there’s no doubt.
Working through the DLC slowly THEN returning to fight the final boss.
Wonder what this studio is getting up to next. I played through The Messenger right before this and that was also great.
So, Sea Of Stars is a bit of a masterpiece, eh? Beat it once and just had a nice, unexpected dining experience with the crew. Still have the DLC and then returning to the final boss fight to see if there’s a true ending.
The only best picture nominees I have left to watch are F1 and The Secret Agent, and I just can’t muster any enthusiasm or interest in F1 but I also don’t want to skip ONE movie.
