In the UK nose to tail cooking is less common now. Haggis & black pudding are still common, as are kidneys & liver, but heart, tripe & lights less so. As kids we’d often have such food - cheap & tasty. I feel these days that visceral association with the sacrifice of living animals has been lost
That’s the trouble with good local shops…too tempting to just pop in🤣. The idea of a
‘15 minute city’ is essentially a model we wholeheartedly support - we’ve seen the concept work very well in Asia and elsewhere in Europe, and that’s essentially how we live here too.
We have a fabulous local deli (www.cheese-board.co.uk) that sells yoghurts, mile, cheese etc…but you do pay a premium. For something like milk we just get it from the local supermarket
Wow! You still get milk delivered! I must admit the large 4 or 6 pint containers from the supermarket seem to have good shelf life these days and easily last us a week. I still love ‘long bottle’ steri milk though with cereal…but haven’t seen it for a while now.
I think of all the Bordeaux I’ve drunk…and none has been disappointing 🍷😁

How often do you get a hypo.? I think my wife is in range normally about 90% - normally dropping below 3.5 when she over estimates the insulin, or it drops quicker than expected after a heavy weight lifting session. Average hba1c was 4.9 - hitting the target they set, then they changed the target😳

You’re right - imho it is an absolute scam! However we got the prime membership for the faster delivery, which is still the core product - although even that has been downgrade too, as you have to (sometimes) spend £20 to get the same day delivery now (it’s still a very handy service though)
It’s been an absolutely superb series so far (I’ve still a few episodes to watch) - far exceeded my expectations…
I seem to recall that she came across a little like that even in her cooking show…
It so infuriates me that Amazon downgraded the (paid for!) Prime service to now have to suffer so many damn adverts…watching Young Sherlock and the ads are almost every 10minutes😭. Money grabbing twats…
