Another panel from the story @basileuscomic.bsky.social is cooking up for the grobusverse- but more impressive than this, the man has an incredible Kickstarter cooking right now

Me, discovering we are 90 percent of the way to our funding goal! Continue to tell your vague acquaintances at the office, random people on the street, and your most despised political rivals about BASILEUS (on kickstarter, link below)
of course - MAK 3000 has been in my veins since like 2009, at least! I love when people are riffing on the same material
A lovely little review from Publisher's Weekly for the new book - out next week! By far my gold standard for when one of my poor little books clambers out into the retail market is when PW gives a tip of the cap!

A Karazadi Noblewoman's Funeral Procession. The deceased is carried in the palanquin to her resting place - fully intact, as befits her high station. (A scene from the latest set of chapters from "The Necromancer's Daughter", now up on my patreon - link in next post)
As a part of mickstarter march (I can say it, I'm a little irish) I will inform you that YOU can receive an original drawing, similar to this one, if you purchase the upper tier. Only 8 remain!
Pictured: You, after reading the second or third greatest fantasy comic you got off KICKSTARTER (www.kickstarter.com/projects/bas...)
This is not the door that appears in BASILEUS (live on kickstarter!!! check the quoted tweet below) but I like to imagine it is, perhaps a back entrance. A wizard must have many points of egress.
This also sounds like a great option for a mobile reliquary
A Domekanized Zaticar merchant showing off his merchandise, bought for a song from the desperate, impoverished nobles of Karazad. Whether his undead chattel will retain effectiveness in the warm, humid lowlands, however, remains to be seen

@basileuscomic.bsky.social and I go way back - heβs even working on a short grobusverse story with me, for release sometime this year! All the more reason to go check out his incredible bookβ¦
I can only afford to go to cons that spot me a table. I can only afford to go to out of town cons that cover my travel/lodging. I make exceptions sometimes if itβs a place I want to visitβ¦ or San Diego (dammit.)
A lot of people take huge financial risks to table at cons. Remember that and be kind.
yeah i am slowly sneaking in every historical reference i can - from north caucasus architecture to ancient peruvian ceramics!
that would be very fun, actually
Well father frank is a specialized amphibious version- otherwise yes they would all sink like stones

In A Fistful of Dollars, "Joe" uses a piece of metal as a makeshift bulletproof vest.
Did anything like this ever happen in the actual Old West?
Yes.
Here's a brief 𧡠on "Deacon Jim"...
I did a short (very sleep deprived -___-) interview about Kromlech and my work on it. Probably didn't explain a lot of stuff I wanted to, I don't remember and I'm not watching this again. XD
www.youtube.com/watch?v=pcO5...
A concept for a Kromlech location that's not accessible in the EA release build, and might look completely different in the final version. We did lots of exploration for this (this is V03), but this is the one I personally liked the best. I don't do a lot of enviro concepts, this was fun.,
literally me (i got a copy)
Hereβs the first comic in my anthology

A young Karazadi girl, possessed by a restless spirit, in the moments before her exorcism begins. The carpet is woven in a holy pattern; the patient is surrounded by protective idols; and a substitute vessel, filled with wine, is offered for the spirit
