a small white fluffy dog sits with upright posture on a wet stone path. they have on a tiny clear raincoat with light blue piping around the edges and little white plastic snaps to keep all the flaps in place. the hood is pulled up over the dog’s head and the stiff side flaps stick out just a little bit around the dog’s hind quarters.

This little pup has managed to stay dry despite wearing so much drip. 12/10

Had a great weekend with Anna and @gorkamecha.bsky.social visiting the sacred labyrinth, seeing the Rock Guardians, eating at tasty places, and having a game night with good friends. Overall 10/10 recommend!

Is there a more scathing insight of you by another human than when they say "you need to meet my friend *name*, you two will get along great" & then they will introduce you to a total in an opera cape. And realize you do in fact get along great.

/everyone/ is the kicker. Can you get enough to do community without having to support anyone who might appear.

What would it take, do you think, to spin up a light Facebook clone? I think about making a vanity site - but really would it be that much more work to make our own FB?

I do believe water is a subsidized resource in most places, and finite in several locations - so there needs to be some sort of mechanism to surge charge anyone who goes over a baseline - and that surge charge would be worse in places of finite water. None of which really exist today.

Guessing because it's drawn off of public utilities - so it's processed, purified and transported to human potable standards - which is a wasted process. (But still would need to be retreated back into the system)

I met a Mocha at a friend's place yesterday, she's not great on honoring personal space boundaries.
