Same here...lots of migratory geese flying over but it's still warm out most days...20 degrees today.
Trees are looking autumnal though which is nice

Lovely new album released today from Wolf Alice
Celebrate Ada Lovelace Day, 14 Oct, this year by organising your own ALD event to support women in STEM. You can do anything – a talk, a networking event, a panel discussion, yarn bombing, cream teas, silent disco, Wikipedia edit-a-thon. The options are endless!
They were a find for me this year and quite enjoyed the album
I'd forgotten about having a schedule...I take my wife to & from work so my day tends to be bookended by those events
I have a home office that I work in and don't work elsewhere in the house. At the end of a day I just close the door and don't go back in there until the next day...unless I want a book to read
My book, The Quality Coach's Handbook, will be available for purchase on the 31st of May. Pre-register here (you'll be in good company 🙃)

Maybe it's because I like learning how systems work so pattern for solving problems are interesting to me
Personally I think each of Alex Xu's books are worth getting
You might find it useful to focus on learning different patterns for these types of problems. Makes solving them a bit more interesting.

🚨 Meta wants its 1 billion+ users to befriend its AI chatbots. Why? AI chatbots can be extremely manipulative and foster dependency, giving Meta full control over its users. Shocked? Read on:
Thanks for these....I'll check them out. Definitely in need of some new authors to explore
Oh Robin Hobby is one of my all time favourites! Read Ursula le Guin in My youth. Will check out the other two thanks
Which female fantasy authors would you recommend?
Spent 15hrs listening to Way of the Kings (about 1/3 of the book) - kind of liked it but eventually gave up due to the pace of the story.
Oh I thought it was a female author...must have misread the post🙂
Read a few by Brandon Sanderson but found them overly long and slow moving....I appreciate it takes time to build the world and characters.
Who is the author?
I’m really excited to have this opportunity to work again with @annemariecharrett.com! Join us at ATD and learn from her unbeatable combination of leadership experience and teaching, writing about, & implementation of quality coaching. (I bring some useful experience & knowledge to the table too…)

Book Invisible Women by Caroline Criado Perez
This book is not good escapist reading while we are being persecuted by male oligarchs, and it isn’t news to me, but it’s extremely well written and researched. Highly recommend and your library probably has it. (Will books like this get banned in our “great” new country?)
Not recently but had my nephews to stay a while back...after 2 days with them...the youngest asked "uncle bill, why do you have black bit under your eyes" 🤣
Fab!
