My MOST favorite kind of "backseating" is what I've gotten to do more times than you think! "Hey that thing you just did without any guidance? That's actually speedrunner tech, that was awesome"
Thinking about backseating... Like not about doing it, but about the KINDS of it that exist. I think my least favorite is where someone tells you something that you're definitely going to find out for yourself in about thirty seconds, especially when they take your idle musing as a legit question
