I was luckily gifted a ton of free $30+ skeins of hand dyed yarn. It’s the dream of knitters everywhere. I feel so ungrateful, but I am stunned by the amount of options to choose from.
I would love to donate them to my local ID/DD day support.
I challenged myself to stash down this year, but the part that no one talks about is the lack of motivation to knit with the yarn you’ve got. It’s like talking to an ex after a breakup. I don’t want to be associated with you, even if you are 100% cashmere 🧶

I just learned that a “blue moon” isn’t about color. It’s the second full moon in a single month! Normally, we only get one full moon per month, but this May will have two. That’s where the phrase “once in a blue moon” comes from! 🤯

This is definitely the most luxurious yarn I’ve gotten to use. I’m a tight knitter as well, so hopefully I can change my grip to avoid those breaks. I’m sure lots of curse words will be said while knitting this hat 😂

6 nights later and I finally have three cakes of Jojoland Cashmere. This yarn is VERY delicate.
I’ll be casting on a copycat CC Beanie for my wife. I’m thinking light pink for the brim held double and a strand of light & dark for the rest 🧶

This is my first tangled rats nest experience. This is no fun. I see why yarn stores charge for it.
Oh wow! I can only imagine how that looked. I’m not even sure how my situation happened.
A skein of tangled hot pink lace weight yarn balanced on a leg with one side connected to a ball winder with half the skein caked up.
I was hoping to start a new project tonight, but this skein of Jojoland Cashmere quickly devolved into tangled spaghetti while winding. This is a mess 🧶
