at first glance, i was highly skeptical of clair obscur. wasn’t sure if it’d be some sort of generic JRPG knockoff but holy smokes did it prove me wrong. it improves on some of the tropes and mechanics that are downsides to the genre and then some. it is, in its own right, an absolute banger.

i decided to start a project where i draw one rat every day with no references. so far the results are absolutely pitiful but hopefully one day ill be able to wake up and say “yeah i can draw a rat pope” or “sure i can sketch a rat shredding on a half pipe”
