Blue cornflowers, on one flower is a bee two others have ladybirds

Red currants hanging fully ripe on the bush.

The bees and ladybirds were having a busy summer day on the cornflowers.

Colourful sweet peas growing as a companion plant at the end of a row of climbing borlotti beans

Happy to see lots of ladybirds doing their thing. The lone one on the mare’s tail stalk was missing out on the feasting party going on in the sweet peas….

Sunlight dancing on shallow water, the green tinged silt makes the water green. Heightened by the contrast of autumn leaves floating on top. Bottom of the photo are the edging pavers of the pond.

I took this photo last autumn because the water in the boating lake in my local park was sparkling clear and looking #Green
The complimentary colour of autumn leaves add to the effect.

My inexperienced attempt at pruning the apple trees last years resulted in no blossom. Thank goodness I did no lasting damage!

When mine get like that I plant them deep as tomatoes will grow more roots from the stem. Although with another month to go they may need supporting soon!!

Well that’s a coincidence, we were in Tallinn a few years ago too for a family holiday and my nephews went off on their Bolt scooters to a climbing place. Must have been the same place!

Stopped off on a journey to stretch our legs and happened upon this wonderful landmark. Chesterton Windmill, Warwickshire.
