the titanfall art style is such a grungy and interesting aesthetic, it's so sad to see it completely sanded away to be replaced by smoothed scifi plastics and techwear at every turn. it just feels so wildly out of place in this universe. 💔 i miss the dirt and detail

ok i would be posting more here if i actually had (new) art to post. i have been slacking on art i feel unsafe with monster hunter rapidly approaching. i just know im not gonna get anything done

new update on the 3D modeling journey. i dislike boxes and boxlike objects

update on the 3D modeling journey:
- retopo is hard and easy at the same time (???)
- UV unwrapping my beloved <3
- normals are so cool
- i really do not want to figure out how to rig this thing but that's the next step!!!

i was just using a small on-screen wacom at my campus but you could easily use any pen pressure tablet imo. my favorite is the wacom intuos, i've had it for several years and it's perfect :)

think of the number of times you could have gotten one and had it fully heal within those 4 years x) do it!!

for some reason my brain was like more objects = bad but now im like OHHH... its like having layers in a 2d canvas.... i get it now 🙈

for sure! i def want to start doing more blockouts of props in 3D and then doing paintovers :D it seems like a fun workflow

also thank you @oscreat.bsky.social for encouraging the use of many more subtools in zbrush it made my life so much easier
