Much like other things that are happening now being blamed on Biden, it's not actually a problem at all.

I can’t be the only one that thinks these stories are to get the 100+ minute polymarket prediction trending, then his lackeys bet the under and he cuts out early.

Instead of a hot take on a specific CSS declaration placement, I want to share what I've used for years. Stylelint-order & stylelint-config-hudochenkov. Even when ordering it manually, I'll still follow it, becomes second nature. Position > sizing > border > background > font > animation > misc.

Hopefully this is the year I finally start making an impact in the CSS community, then I'll be the underdog entry in the 2027 March Mad CSS.

This is how I was already describing it, but positively & letting out a sigh as I stare out the window.

One thing I’ve made an effort to do is when having a language picker to put that language, in its own language. English, FranΓ§ais, EspaΓ±ol, Deutsch, etc. I don’t know why the web hasn’t been standardized like that.

Counterpoint: use system font stacks so your site loads faster and each user gets the default for their OS, feeling more familiar to them.

Before the ICE fears, before the tariffs took effect, he threatened Canada with the 51st state. That was enough for some of us to not step foot in the US for the foreseeable future. Lots of other better countries for travelling.

There have been 25 years of products that claim to be the solution of visual editors for the web. When you look at the output and it’s terrible or convoluted, you lose trust in the project. Locking into vendor classes, or inlining all styles are examples of not trusting their output.

London ON Municipal did ranked voting once (before provincial conservatives banned it) and it resulted in a conservative mayor. BUT it felt transparent and fair, so it wasn't anger about vote splitting or strategic voting causing the unwanted result.

When the polls and the strategic voting guides basically say "don't worry about it", it really dampens the effort of the anyone-but-conservative movement. #canadaelection

I used Digg through all the iterations, I even still liked their moderated news aggregator attempt. But if they can take everything they learned and make reddit/Digg feel like 2010 again, just like bluesky did for twitter. I’m so in.

I’ve been using the beta for over a year and I’m a big fan of what they’re doing at Pierre.co . This off-the-wall homepage is just the fresh air in web design that I love to see.
