Tbf, this isn't the first thing they call AI and it will not be the last thing until we have General Purpose AI, which I think (and hope) is still a long way away.
Also I really don't think this AI thing is dying any time soon, it's way too valuable and unfortunately not everyone dislikes it

Currently at an AI workshop for work. The trainer: "If a text has emdashes or a bunch of emoji's it is almost always Chat GPT. Look at LinkedIn and see how many people do that. If I see those I immediately don't take them seriously".
Rephrased AI trainer: "If you use AI I don't take you seriously"

I will say that the grammer is incredibly easy with so few exceptions. Especially compared to Dutch. But unfortunately that has resulted in spelling so hard you have made a competition out of it.

Yeah, I only have 300 characters, so I don't want to have to say I'm Dutch everytime just so that people will forgive me for some English mistakes (started with Reddit ofc). Mentioning I'm Dutch in my username has reduced it to pretty much 0%

I will say, as a non native English speaker, your pronunciation rules are fucked up and confusing, and this would have helped me learn the language. Then again, Dutch (my native language) is very phonetic

I will say, as a Dutch person, this makes the pronunciation so much clearer than actual English spelling. I can see why they did it. For context, Dutch is written almost fully phonetically (with a bunch of rules and exceptions to spelling and grammer rules, just to keep it phonetically consistant)

You can't have your cake and eat it too. You're always going to pay for either oncosts, or you are going to have to pay a higher rate for freelancers

I'm not saying that those people should be paid 65€. I was just illustrating that my rates are much higher as a freelancer compared to as an employee. What I'm saying is that as a freelancer you should ask at least double of what a salaried person asks, because of all the reasons already mentioned
