Your game is amazing. I thought I was missing something first time I read it. What I missed is that it's actually simple and straightforward 😁

This weekend, I created a 10 pages generic TTRPG inspired by Not the End, Cortex Plus/Prime, PbtA, Drakonym, and a couple others.
Today, I'm starting a web platform that would allow solo players to enjoy it.

Je réfléchis à un système avec des gens super spécialisé, mais où chaque action a un prix et sur la durée des sacrifices doivent être fait.

Pour du solo, donc pas forcément sur de longues campagnes. Donc je saisis bien l'impact sur le one-shot (quelque soit la longueur).

Comme disait un lieutenant colonel de notre chère armée de terre : la pression on ne se la met pas, on l'a boit. Et si tu ne bois pas d'alcool, il y a de la pression dans tout ce qui est à bulle 😉

Et y'a le contrat social. Si tes joueurs n'ont pas compris dans quoi ils mettaient les pieds, c'est chaud.

Et y'a la volonté de jouer différemment. Je ne joue qu'en solo parce que j'en ai marre des gens qui n'aiment que leur jeu/univers dans la 17è version et ne sortent pas de leur zone de confort

J'avais il y a 5 minutes une discussion sur le jeu Triangle Agency. Je disais que j'avais adoré la lecture, et que j'adorerais jouer, mais qu'en tant que meneur, ça serait dur.

Une table (tradi, avec MJ), c'est une proposition de jeu encadrée par 1 pour plusieurs.

It IS a good game. Just not a theme I feel myself running. I had a couple chuckles reading it though, I don't regret my purchase. We need more games like that.

C'est toujours le soucis avec les jeux où les persos sont super spécialisés. Il faut parfois arriver à taper dans l'angle mort de l'équipe. Ou que narrativement, leur succès ait des conséquences.

I loved the system (player and GM facing). I didn't care for the setting much. I would play to try, but reading the book didn't make me scream "I WANT TO RUN IT".

Nowadays, I love games like Shadow dark and their many tools. Or Journeyman, Expert, Master. Or games from @farirpgs.com. Or many more !!!

I had a blast with D&D 4th edition. The XP economy, simple stat-blocs, and asymmetry between players and non-players was amazing. I could whip up an encounter tailored for the strength and weaknesses of the PC in a minute.

Ok. I'll let them know. And if I see someone interested, I know where to send them.

Those numbers are also adjusted with the fact that salaries have not increased as fast as inflation, for sure. What does it actually cost today, taking into account the actual increase of cost of living (inflation vs wages). Your numbers are gonna get really high. #dontcareaboutcolourbooks

The games are a little grindy. Even for that time period. The remakes of 1&2 have helped a lot in the matter. 3rd game spans over 3 generations and your character choices impact (somewhat) your descendance. 4th is fun and more straightforward without holding your hand. So Yes. With a little patience
