There's always one that comes as a complete surprise.
Mets have had that habit forever. Playing down to their competition. I was curious about their record vs the Gnats last season; it was 7-6. In 2024? 11-2.
The difference speaks volumes.
The buzzy pests you can't swat. The Mets were 7-6 vs them last season. Imagine if they'd managed to just win one more of those games. Ugh.
