I get the Canes have cap space. But you don’t trade cap space. You trade assets and fit them into your cap. If the price was as high as it seems for some of the players we were targeting, I don’t blame FO for not making a move honestly

Canes fans are hilarious. Just relax guys. Tulsky is a phenomenal GM who will have explored every avenue. If he can make us better, he’s shown repeatedly that he will. And if he stands pat they have the 3rd best record in the NHL. Everything will be ok

@canesstats.bsky.social feel free to fact check me and use/expand on this. I was amazed by how much success the Canes have vs bad teams at home. It makes sense, obviously, but if you’re a non playoff team you essentially don’t win in Raleigh

Not counting this year, from 2021-22 to 2024-25 (essentially post pandemic) the Canes are 72-12-3 at home vs non-playoff opposition for a points percentage of .845%. They’ve outscored their opponents 319-183 in that stretch. Thats all staggering to me…the Canes truly just smoke crap teams at home
