Labour urged to listen to progressive voters or face βpolitical earthquakeβ in London

Obama: "We are living in a time where it can be hard to hope. Each day we wake up to some new assault on our democratic institutions. Another setback to the idea of the rule of law ... but this man - Rev. Jesse Jackson - inspires us to take a harder path ... bc if we don't step up, nobody else will"
He seems pretty sensitive whenever someone confronts him with evidence that Putin might not be our friend. Even when Fox brings it up.
The Reform UK leader has spent over 1,000 hours or 140 working days at his various other jobs since being elected to Parliamentβ neglecting his constituency and Parliamentary duties.

Reverend Jesse Jackson called on each of us to be heralds of change, to be messengers of hope; to step forward and say βSend meβ wherever we have a chance to make an impact.
How fortunate we were that Jesse Jackson answered that call. What a great debt we owe to him.
βItβs no longer a political calculus. Itβs a moral and legal and Constitutional obligation of Congress to [impeach]. It would be a violation of the oath of office for a member of Congress not to push for impeachment when it is possible.β
Photo of Yusuf at a lectern saying βshadow Home Secretaryβ (Wot?) Reform's plan for a 'British ICE' combines cruelty with stupidity
Project forward to 2036 under a majority Reform government and the picture darkens further. Britain would be smaller, older and whiter; more isolated from Europe; paradoxically, more vulnerable to foreign interterence and less able to fund its own defence. The welfare state would shrink to a skeleton. Charity would fill the gaps. Flags would proliferate; rights would not. The police and courts would be politicised. The BBC could disappear. The NHS would survive only as a minimal safety net. Protections against discrimination would erode - you might indeed be sacked for being disabled. Migrants and even their British-born children could find their rights curtailed unless they were deemed to "contribute" sufficiently. Meanwhile, the wealthiest would enjoy a generous, low-tax regime.
βRarely has a British political party unveiled a programme that combines cruelty with impracticality on such an extravagant scale.β
Chilling on Reformβs increasingly confident fascism. High on viciousness and greed. Very low on wisdom. A ruinous combination.

Loads and loads of teams out today in Gorton & Denton - hereβs a very small selection featuring colleagues.
Look.
People get divorced for all manner of reasons, and it's nobody else's business.
However.
When a politician is using the slogan:
Family. Community. Country.
It's perfectly reasonable to point out that they are recently divorced and live in the SE of England miles from Gorton and Denton.
Devastating expose - Zero Line - on Russiaβs brutal treatment of its soldiers. Putin is destroying Russia.
Just returning home from an event in London, where Fiona Hill was the guest speaker. With John Sopel as Chair, she spoke powerfully, with great clarity and insight about all things Trump and Russia.
Great final flourish from Heidi Alexander on #bbcqt tonight. She impressively denounced the hypocrisy and falsehoods of both the Tory and Reform panelists.

83% of 16- to 24-year-olds would vote to rejoin the EU, while just 17% would keep Farageβs Russian project going.
Gen Z was too young to vote in 2016.

Never in a million years did I ever fathom when I resurrected the Epstein story in 2018 that it would lead to first arrest of a British Royal in four centuries. Not since King Charles I was arrested in 1647.

The American president is more insulated from accountability than a British royal.
Our political system provides the elite with immunity. It has to change.
With todayβs unprecedented events, will the arrest of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor provide the stimulus for similar action in the US?! The scale of Epsteinβs crimes demand urgent justice.
Should your esteemed constabulary be inclined to cross the pond, we are in possession of a most splendid catalogue of miscreants (which we would be delighted to preserve in like confidentiality) for your good offices to apprehend.
