I truly believe that finishing my education will open doors to better opportunities—not just for me, but also for my family. This is why I’m reaching out today. I’m hoping to raise a little funding to help me kickstart my first semester back in college.

This income barely covers basic needs, making it almost impossible to save enough for tuition or other school-related costs.

But without a degree, it’s incredibly challenging to find a stable, high-paying job here in the Philippines. Most work available to me right now are minimum-wage positions, and I currently earn around $12 for an 8-hour shift.

I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out because I need your help to continue my education and go back to college. Few years ago, I was juggling work and school at the same time in order to support myself and cover my expenses.

And yet, I watch her have to prove what I’m simply given.

That’s not right.

This isn’t a pity post or a pedestal speech. It’s a reflection—a callout of the subtle but corrosive ways bias plays out every day. Because I’ve seen the toll it takes.

When I speak, people lean in. When she speaks, they lean away. And here’s the truth: she’s smarter than me. Stronger, too—not just emotionally, but mentally, spiritually, and yes, often even physically. She’s a force of clarity, resilience, and insight.

Forget “Man vs Bear”. Women shouldn't have to go through the process of contemplating which option is less dangerous. Make a safe space for women.

Guys, I just want to say that on Friday I renewed my library card and took out a bunch of books that are not worthy, or serious, or educational. They're just stories, and they have already fundamentally made my mental health better.
