I stand with Kanata students who spoke up today for accessible education. OSAP helps ensure that more young people have the opportunity to pursue their goals and build their future. Thank you for raising your voices and standing up for yourselves and for students across Ontario.

I just want to say thank you to all the students who were out there today making sure that their voices are heard. You are absolutely right. OSAP is the path to freedom. Education is power. This government wants to take your power away. Thank you for being there today!

Following corruption charges against 7 Toronto police officers, as Liberal Critic for Public Safety, Cybersecurity and Crime Prevention, and Solicitor General, I am calling for a full independent judicial inquiry. Ontarians deserve transparency, accountability, and confidence in our justice system.

On January 29, we mark the National Day of Remembrance of the Québec City Mosque Attack and Action Against Islamophobia. Nine years ago, six worshippers lost their lives in a senseless act of hate. We honour their memory and stand with Muslim communities across Canada.

Ontario Liberals are proposing a common sense solution. Sell off U.S. liquor sitting in storage, and already paid for, and direct the proceeds to food banks and charities across Ontario. Families need support now. Let’s put these resources to work where they matter most.

When budgets are tight for so many, taking away this safeguard does not put people first. Ontarians deserve clear and fair rules that respect the value they have earned, not changes that make life harder. People earn these points. They rely on them. They should be able to keep them.
