#weeknightwriters i'm struggling with doing things a different way. i've always been a pantser and that's comfortable for me. planning is not ! i have all this software and sites to help me but idk i could use some other accessible references for novel planning.

how is it that i've figured out everything BUT the full plot of this novel..... i don't want to plan i don't want to. i hate it because it makes my adhd brain ITCH so badly. i have to zone in on something and start freewriting and it'll come out but in the meantime i want to crawl out of my skin.

#queerprompts jubes/vita-max story is what i'mworking on! the discrimination in my world is not based on the same as us. there's no racism/transphobia/sexism etc, but various species of beings are looked down on for the nature of their abilities, like ellis's blood manipulation in blood and embers.

#writesky say one of your pov characters is kind of wild and doesn't actually think like a normal person. don't you think it's important that the rhythm/manner of their narration matches their behavior and dialogue? i'm so stuck on vita because she's so out of pocket lol #writingcommunity

i started with upwork making literally pennies and worked my way up to being able to branch off on my own with loyal clients! it's not easy, it's grueling and disheartening and hard to give away your work, but it can make money. i also met my publisher through an editor i had ghostwriting.

this gets fixed in editing no worries

my worldbuilding is not great but mostly because i leave out descriptive details because i know what it looks like, my brain just skips over it and assumes everyone else does too lol
