Throwing my two cents in, I would personally not even consider attending after this knowing that the staff member who sent this email is going to be there, and still holds staff position. The same one who holds an apparent personally targeted negative sentiment against you, or your work.

It looks one of the board members replied on the official TFF account here requesting this be discussed through official email correspondence, and that's good.

However, I'm seeing replies commenting that nothing will happen because that email was from a board member. That's *not* good.
