To all the confident and not-so confident Black girls and women - you matter, your stories are important, your voices should be heard, tell them. They change lives.
“Let the pain leave out of you with each breath. It want to be free too.” None of us knew this book would touch on so much of the diasporic Black woman experience, including our indigenous ways of knowing and loving. It’s affirming, resistance, social justice, pro-Black, tender, history, and magic.
