Mmmmmm! Plate-cleaning good!! Sheet-Pan Baked Feta With Broccolini, Tomatoes and Lemon recipe from NYT Cooking. I used halloumi instead of feta. I love the tooth squeak and taste of halloumi. 😋 Five star dish! Ten out of ten I will make this often!

Pinwheels and gingham! They turned out soooo cute! I actually want to make a lot more of the one on the left. I loved weaving these, but they do take quite a bit of time to weave with all of the pickup stick work on the front side of the heddle. #rigidheddleweaving #weaving

Easy pickled beets and onions with dill. Cooling the brine down to room temperature here and then popping this jar in the fridge for four to five days. Golden beets, this time. Soooo yummy!!😋

If you ever wondered why handmade things are pricier, this is just part of the “why”. This is me preparing to do just a single row on a cotton dish towel I am weaving myself.
Knitters and crocheters, have you seen this? Over 700 people have knitted this just since this came out this month. Traditional resistance!
This is a much slower process than plain weave. But the effect is amazing and satisfying! Pinwheel pattern in 8/4 Lofty Cotton, 12 dent reed, rigid heddle loom. You see plain weave at the start for the folded hem edge.
This is the best way to celebrate a milestone birthday (60). With two days off from work and doing what you adore doing. These will be pinwheel dish towels. I have a load of 8/4 cotton to play with. 🧶🥰
I haven’t tried those but they intrigue me. I used to do socks with two circulars (à la Cat Bordhi) and that is almost identical to the flexi dpns. I did like that method.

Me, too! I’m thinking of trying the Fleegle Heel. I always default to a GSR heel because they are mindless and fast. It’ll be fun to watch you try a new heel and see how it goes. ☺️
