I spent my ENTIRE adolescence painfully dealing with being a gentle, sensitive "boy" who was attracted to girls. I didn't have the vocabulary, and 1970s British society didn't even have the categories.

Anyone who asks "have you tried being a feminine boy?" is too wilfully ignorant to argue with.
