A save so good by Demko on Draisaitl that the Oilers were already celebrating the goal. #Canucks
Kane with the Raffi Torres special on Regula. #Canucks
My Fantasy Football friends. Looking for input. 12 team full PPR W/superflex (Qb,2Rb,3wr,SF,TE,Def,K). WRβs Chase, McMillan, **Worthy** (Bench: Jennings, Dβonte Thornton). Looking to bolster depth for worst cast with Worthy. Top 3 available. Mims, Ayomanor, Burden. Who do you add?

The new AHL age rule and what it means for Canucks prospects
Iβm willing to give this group another crack. Have to believe their luck has to be better than last season and they feel like they have something to prove. Do I think they are a contender? No. But maybe they can take some big steps in the right direction.
Itβs something to keep an eye on. Do I think he gets moved? Unlikely. But, the availability of top 6 forwards has changed dramatically from what was going to potentially be available today in FA. Teams (specifically contenders) may get desperate for a guy that profiles like Kane does. We shall see.
Kaneβs*
I also wouldnβt be surprised if Kane potentially becomes a piece they might now move with Boeser back. The landscape of available top 6 forwards has changed the last 24hrs with teams looking up their potential free agents with extensions. Limited options available in FA could up Laneβs value.
I expect the Canucks to be quiet on the FA front now with their signings done. 22 players signed and no RFAβs. Now the focus turns to trades which will likely pan out once teams wrap up their FA spending. Silovs, D depth, and future picks are the currency they have to work withβ¦β¦
Agreed. He never got going this year after the challenging start health wise. I expect he will have a much better year with a full healthy off season. He can be very effective when heβs at 100%
The hope is a few guys take this off season more seriously, and I think they will. Last year was embarrassing and taxing on some guys. I think they are motivated to prove last year was the anomaly. A healthy Demko and a good offseason for a few guys (Petey, Boeser, Joshua, etc) could be interesting
The Canucks have locked down Brock Boeser.
7x7.25 is well under what I expected Boeser to demand with this limited free agent market. Very good deal for the Canucks moving forward as the cap goes up.
Brock coming back is a huge win for this management team. Fans can stomach losing Pius Suter for nothing. But losing him and Boeser for nothing would have been a terrible look. Have to wait on the terms but at first news I love this for the Canucks. Boeser is a guy this team needed. Badly.
Dhaliwal is reporting on the hellsite that Brock Boeser will re-sign with the #Canucks.
I am stunned.
It will remain Thatcher Demko's crease in Vancouver! π ββοΈ #NHLFreeAgency
β¦..with the cap going up, thatβs basically a 4.5x6 deal under the old flat cap. It doesnβt feel like an overpay, but 4yrs would have been the ideal term.
Early start to July 1. On Demko, love the deal. The 3 yr term limits risk. 8.5m might seem a bit steep, but thatβs the trade off. Market value for his play, risk limiting term. If he stays healthy, itβs a slam dunk. Garland at 6x6 puts him at 35 when the deal expires. I donβt love the term, butβ¦
I donβt think there is anything more Canadian than NHL free agency falling on a national holiday.
Alexei Medvedev doesn't turn 18 until September 10, making him one of the youngest prospects in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
Intriguing pick from the #Canucks, who I didn't expect to take a goaltender in the second round.
Man. Still miss Botch.
2016?

I think behind the scenes itβs being considered. Having to buy out his bro is a ton of cash given the teams current valuation. The family can sell, all get their cut, and make a massive profit. The teams has a 30 yr old building, no practice, etc. I donβt think FA can afford what a team costs now.
