physically in march but spiritually still up to my neck in february
i've seen multiple videos where he talks about dancing. cast him in a dirty dancing movie already. for me! just one for me!
god I am not your strongest soldier
NORMAL! NORMAL! NORMAL STUFF!!!!!!!
i've watched this the normal amount of times that a normal person can watch something. no follow up questions.
celebrate by fixing your heart! If that's not possible, there's one other option
iβm locked in a battle of the wills over a $13 refund from a local nail salon and iβm about to write the most emotionally devastating firm yet fair one star review youβve ever seen. oh ye who hast pushed me to these depths
yes all fur just no fur in a very specific and very cool mid-90's magician goatee sort of way
one of the greatest life upgrades i've made recently is to keep a little pair of tweezers in my office desk drawer so as soon as one of those little annoying chin hairs pops up i can destroy it. i know peace now
can mamdani also call a snow day for us? i'm tired. don't ask where i live it doesnt matter dont worry about it shh

still running off the bone-chilling adrenaline of waking up this morning and looking at my (unplugged) phone and seeing that it was in fact 10am. luckily my boss just thought it was funny! skidded into the office with wet hair and no eyebrows drawn on by 10:22. god bless wormcare

I donβt know who needs to hear Jesse Jackson leading the kids on Sesame Street in this beautiful call-and-response reminding them that every child is somebody, but here it is
mardi gras can have a certain rep and it's definitely part of it (if you want to have that experience, you can!) but it's also a million different things all throughout the city. and mardi gras day in the french quarter is genuinely the best place and best feeling in the entire world
it's mardi gras! happy mardi gras! i am not at mardi gras this year. i am unfortunately forced to lock in like the little grindset work cog i so long to be. however it is both mardi gras & what would have been my mimi's 100th birthday today so if you're also cogging it today, get yourself a treat
anyway i don't have a thesis or anything BUT it is the kind of movie i would recommend seeing with a great group of pals because i think even if you hate it there is the very fun opportunity to talk about it over a big shared plate of french fries after and that is a great joy of life
maybe because my expectations for WH were so low, and so high for frankenstein? maybe because WH is not pretending to be faithful to the source material and frankenstein was? or something something about even if WH isn't faithful to the book it's still faithful to how awful heathcliff and cathy are
also really turning over the two jacob elordi film experiences i've had this year (frankenstein, adapted from one of my favorite books, a bone-shattering disappointment where every adaptation choice made me so mad) and this one and how the viewing experience was so different.
unfortunately have to report that i loved the wuthering heights movie. i know! i get why it's polarizing (we went with a group of pals to see it, the majority loved it, one thought it was pretty good, one hated it) but i think if you vibe with emerald fennell's freak you'll have a great time.
we could have just given them each others numbers but we gave them photos and names and made them scavenger hunt for each other. for OUR amusement
it was a big group of people and at some point i was coordinating rides and was like βwho has hudsonβ and nobody had hudsonβ¦..chaos raccoon was on the looseβ¦β¦β¦β¦.
i had a dream i was hosting hudson williams for mardi gras. i woke up sweating. (not like that). iβve never been so stressedβ¦β¦
i went to see casablanca last night (iβve never seen it all the way through) and iβve read articles about that particular scene and the history before, and when it happened on screen i got very emotional! this is maybe a brave hot take but hey casablanca is a good movie
I think about how when they sang La Marseillaise they were still in the midst of a war they did not know they were going to win.
