To be suddenly fired after 5 years and not receive any feedback or reason for it is extremely unprofessional especially after I had just been approved for staff this year. I feel betrayed and disappointed by the direction the con is going in.

Regarding this, I've attempted to reach out to HR and leadership at @megaplexcon.org and only the chairman responded while my former lead left me on read. I only wanted an explanation, but no one seems to want to tell me. Until someone does, I no longer want to attend the con or their events.

Remember a few weeks back when @megaplexcon.org abruptly removed a volunteer who had staffed for nearly 10 years? They later apologized and said the situation had been mishandled. They said they would do better.
