I AM SO EXCITED TO PLAY IT WHEN I GET HOME 😤

Highlights were triple mana and draw 4 every turn for the table game one. Game two I had like 7 triggers of the commander. Lot better than I thought. Lita, Mikey into Leo and Don was broken.

And Gaslight Boros somehow won it despite playing 5 cards for most of the game.

Played monthly Commander night yesterday and had some fun. Played 4 games total with the below Commanders. Game one lasted forever but a loss. Game two this deck rocked but I got smacked for 30 damage unlockable. Leo & Mikey were insane. Won in 10 minutes. And somehow pulled another with Rokiric.

TMNT prerelease was a lot of fun! Was killing it but sadly choked at the end and went 5-2 total. Massive mistake where I didn't read my cards.

Fun time though! Always love a good prerelease.

After a week I finally have my voice mostly back. It's been lame being sick for so long here. Glad to finally be feeling better.

In other news, I am going pottery painting for the first time tonight. That'll be fun 😊

Gantz is one of the few manga I've read multiple times and I still cannot put into words how horrible but oddly great it is at the same time. It has some of the worst media I've seen put to paper (if you know, you know).

Yet the MCs journey and growth from a shit head to a genuine hero is great!

I can imagine! I feel like even with all the warnings in the world people still decide to backseat. It's kind of wild how often it happens in retro. Hopefully they settle down for you a bit 😅

Retro is truly the category for back sitters. People love the games they grew up with and want to share what they know. I find it to be a little much even as someone that doesn't mind backsitters.

I wish they still did! It would really crub the scalping and price gouging that happens with these. I would have loved to grab the dragon and black light DND ones but guess no luck there.

Dude I hate MTG secret lairs. I waited an hour for the one set I wanted to sell out in both foil and non-foil 🫠

I wish they made the system better but it's so cheeks right now.
