Congratulations!
A pint of Perry Street pale ale and a half of The Right Waves Gather west coast pale ale on an Iron Pier bar runner at the Iron Pier Taproom
Loads of cask on our list this week, including super fresh Perry Street, our new west coast, The Right Waves Gather, and Ebenezer, our Christmas ESB.
Half pint glass full of straw coloured beer held in front of the camera, with stacked casks in the background.
Our latest beer in our US hop series is one of my favourite hops, Centennial. Floral aromatics with underlying citrus, I love how flexibly centennial is, being effective when used across the brewing process. Out to trade in London, Sussex and Kent from tomorrow. app.sellar.io/suppliers/ir...
Styrian Eagle - damn autocorrect.
Trade list has plenty on it this week, including new Joined at the Hop featuring Opus and Syrian Eagle, and the very last of our Ernest Green Hop. app.sellar.io/suppliers/ir...
Great piece Will. I absolutely love the Dog & Bell. Not only is it one of the best pubs in London, but it’s always done it in its own way. It’s never felt like it’s been chasing a trend, even though it’s moved with the times
Fresh on cask from Gravesend's Iron Pier Beer... A zesty and refreshing, easy-going session pale...
Open at 4pm 🍺

Yeah it’s brewed at theakstons isn’t it? They do push a very Irish family brewery marketing position though, which is guess is why Farl sell it
I think that’s why I like the Brennan’s, the flavour profile isn’t very Irish stout. They have about 6 glasses, I think it more of a passion for the owner than anything else. tho I suspect they are likely to be modern replicas. It certainly makes it more ceremonial than the standard straight glass
Farl in Folkestone has some of these I think, or ones that look very similar at least. They are really beautiful. I actually prefer drinking Murphy’s or Brennan’s in Farl, but it’s always worth getting a pint of Guinness just to drink from one of those beautiful glasses.
Casks are all up in the cold store ahead of this weekends festival. Just the keg stuff to sort now and we’ll be ready for 4pm tomorrow

James digging the mash at iron pier brewery
Had a wonderful day today brewing Pete and James from Docker. Great to brew beer with friends. Lookout for the beers release next month, and a return collab at their Folkestone brewery
They’re heading over our way in a couple of weeks for the return leg. Really enjoyed working with them, lovely people.
Wonderful day @ironpierbeer.bsky.social beer festival with @pisci.bsky.social and appropriately my last beer will be Elusive Brewality WC IPA.

Pint of pale cask beer in plastic glass with a tight foamy head
Obviously minus points for the plastic glass, but this is how cask should look. Proper condition, nice tight head. Gravity pour.
Set up on Folkestone Harbour arm serving cask beer today, next to Floc’s main bar. Marathon on the big screen & beautiful weather.
News to absolutely no one in the beer industry. Not just the obvious ties, but by crazy up front payments to publicans and now proprietary dispense systems like Smart Dispense.
Two cracking beers on cask today from Three Brothers and @ironpierbeer.bsky.social
Poured by Rosie and modelled by Cyclo!
A group of people drinking beer in a well lit auditorium
We are at Gen Craft in Ashford today with some great breweries, including Three Blind Mice, Unity, Beakbeat, Low Key, Barneys and Ascension Cider.
@ironpierbeer.bsky.social Best Bitter in the Euston Tap. Cheers!
On our way to Liverpool for SIBA BeerX. Decided to add a few days to the trip this year and have a weekend away
Yeah we just backed off the malt and colour in Wave for this reason.
The guys at courtyard were super friendly when we were there. Avenue pub is great as well.
