not for everyone, but any time I went through these self-critical/perfection struggles, I would switch to my non-dominant hand. it forces you to use the other hemisphere of your brain (which literally “sees” the world differently) while also lowering performance pressure. always reset my attitude.

not for nothing, but I think there’s also a much deeper menu for procedures than ever existed. certainly plenty of precedent for aging male stars getting a lot of work done like face lift or brow lift (Kirk Douglas, Stallone, etc) but now the sheer variety probably serves as its own gateway.
