MC1247893 - Microsoft Entra passkeys on Windows now support phishing-resistant sign-in | Microsoft 365 Message Center Archive Microsoft Entra passkeys on Windows enable phishing-resistant, passwordless sign-in using Windows Hello on Entra-protected resources, including unmanaged devices. Public preview starts mid-March 2026....

Microsoft just announced official support to store device bound Passkeys for Entra ID in the Windows Hello container. No app, no external hardware key but built in support. Sadly no attestation while in preview.

Have an Entra question and want to tap into Entra knowledge from the community?

Darren "Doc" Robinson did us all an awesome favour and created an Entra News MCP server.

I asked: What's the latest on CA and got this πŸ‘‡

I like daylight savings overall, but lord, why can’t we spring forward Friday night to give us the full weekend to adapt?!?

I love the auto regen in the Kona. I can set it on light regen braking for most coasting but it will increase regen to slow me down if cars are stopped ahead. I’ve always assumed slight β€œgas” pedal pressure turns off regen but isn’t actually sending energy to the motor. Maybe I’m wrong though.

This is an end run around progressive taxation. When it comes from a paycheck we can easily create lower taxes for those who make less money. With a consumption tax, poorer people will pay a higher percent of their income in taxes. The rich who are stockpiling excess income will pay no taxes on it.

No thanks! I don’t ever want to go back to a car with an ICE in it. I’m so happy to have had (almost) zero regular maintenance on my EV.

Love the β€œtax avoidance” subheading which sets up the old β€œwe really need lower taxes for the rich so they’ll stop avoiding taxes” argument.

What are preferred methods to lock someone out of a remote Intune managed computer? Any that work well in a hybrid configuration?

Our best solution to date is a push of a β€œdeny local login” policy in advance and a forced reboot.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel like #Microsoft creates a service with minimal controls, makes it available to everyone in a tenant by default and then comes around after things are a mess to sell you a governance solution…which just happens to be Premium plan pricing?

We now live in a world where people use AI to generate content, pass that content to someone else who uses AI to summarize the content.

AI’s real value is in identifying busy work and eliminating it.

Couple of quick tips.

1. If you aren’t at high risk and so you don’t want to remove biometrics, remember that five quick presses of the lock button on an iPhone will force the phone to require a pin to unlock. (Not a lawyer so can’t speak to if this would be considered obstruction if caught).

The Gestapo was a secret police force. No warrants.
No courts. No lawyers. And no appeals. People vanished in the night, not because they broke the law, but because the law no longer meant anything. The knock on the door was the sentence.

Not really because I think that using the term abolish creates more resistance to any change. To me it’s a sequencing issue. Walk and chew gum is easy; if it was easy this would be done. I’d say juggle and ride a unicycle. You can do both, but it’s easier to do one and then the other.

14.01.2026 19:47 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

And I think using the word β€œreform” is more likely to get people who are not as convinced to support us than using β€œabolish” which was actually my original point. Reform can take a lot of paths. πŸ˜‰

14.01.2026 19:43 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

I agree. My point is that trying to get consensus to abolish ICE is slower than some of the β€œreforms” I’m suggesting. My goal right now is to stop more people from being killed or abducted. Then continue to press your case for abolition when have the time to convince more people.

14.01.2026 19:43 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 3 πŸ“Œ 0

Go ahead and abolish ICE but I still think you’ll get faster results if we send a few people to jail and we make it a crime to cover your face. Just making face coverings illegal for ICE would make a HUGE difference in stopping the violence and is a much easier path.
