It is a politician’s job to convince a voter to vote for them. It is not a voter’s responsibility to vote for someone that hasn’t won their vote. That’s how democracy works.

The fact is that fraud, waste and abuse in the private sector absolutely dwarfs anything that will ever happen in the government. Trillions sit idle in offshore accounts, rich people throw away billions on overpriced luxury goods, white collar crime is prolific and perpetual.

Leftists need to avoid falling into the trap of litigating whether various cases of "fraud, waste, and abuse" in the government actually happened or not. Two things are true:

1) Fraud, waste and abuse happen sometimes
2) This is just an argument for better governance, not for less governance.
