It’s drizzly, cold and we have the place to ourselves! The seaweed is delicious, the waves are cool and I’m off leash the whole time. I stealthily ate so much seaweed( burp), found a place for a snowbath and bummed( I mean earned) a few treats. Life of Chum.
Sandbanks park in Burgeo, NL is the best medicine for dealing with the chaos in the world today. No matter the season, a walk on the beaches with the wind and waves will clear your mind. We are blessed to live here.
What an amazing day! It was another beach morning. There were so many friends there. I didn’t know who to smell first. I was off leash There was a ton of fresh seaweed. So delicious! my girl Maggie was there. Isn’t she gorgeous! I ran, played, did zoomies and posed for pictures. Life of Chum.
It’s snow clothes weather but the air is fresh, the scenery amazing and the waves are incredible. Burgeo
Sometimes all you need is a beach and the sounds of nature. Sandbanks, Burgeo
I’m just the happiest boy! The truck is fixed and that means a beach day. I greeted my friends, had an awesome snack of fresh seaweed, smelled the air, took pets from walkers and hung out patiently while Mom took wave pictures. I’m just the bestest boy. Life of chum.
This is Sandbanks park in Burgeo in the SW coast of NL. It’s stunning no matter the season. These pictures were taken this morning at low tide. There are several more beaches as well. Yes I’m blessed to live here.
What a morning! A beach run off leash, a surprise play date, buried treasure, snow baths, treats, and head rubs from the regulars. Plus just look at this place! Isn’t it amazing. Life of Chum.
Peace, quiet and serenity are on the menu at Sandbanks park near Burgeo this morning.
The peace and serenity of second beach, Sandbanks, near Burgeo.
The latest storm that’s pummelling metro completely bypassed the south West Coast. So Chum and I managed to get out for a nice long stroll. Thinking about the backs of our followers as they move that white stuff out of the way.
I worked there when it was the Stanley Steamer 1984-85( it helped put me through Mun) love the picture!
I am so sorry for the loss of your precious fur baby💔
This is the space between the first and second beaches. After hearing about the horrific news about the mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, I came here to try and achieve some peace. I hope this video helps you too🙏
Another day, another beach run. Mom was late getting ready so my friends were leaving. I greeted everyone and then I started my zoomies, my exploration and posing. Dad said mom has more pictures of me than of anyone else. Well, I am gorgeous. Life of Chum.
Yes! So I try to avoid people like that
A short video on this beautiful Sunday morning. This is first beach, Sandbanks near Burgeo.
An early morning walk at Sandbanks is always a great way to start the day. I took mom along ( cause I have to) I read the smellmail, ran free and left Chum smells everywhere. I posed for mom cause she loves pictures of me and I ate tons of seafood. Then I spotted a caribou. Life of Chum.
I’m not sure what’s up but I’m loving it. Two days in a row mom took me for adventures at the beach. The first 2 pictures are yesterday, the last two today. It’s awesome! I played, ate seaweed, did zoomies, posed for treats and just loved every minute. Life of Chum.
A fine Saturday morning. The perfect kind of morning for strolling around the harbour. Burgeo
Incredible shots. The second one is my favourite
Mom is back on her feet so I decided she had to go to the fisherman’s wharf. I tried to be careful with her but I was so excited that I may have pulled a little. I wiggled waddled down the road, filled her loot bag, left smells everywhere, looked for ducks and snacks. Life of Chum.
This is a 360 video from the fisherman’s wharf. It’s one of Chum’s favourite places. I hope its peacefulness makes you smile. And yes Chum makes an appearance at the end.
It’s a freeze your toes kind of day. Dad took me for a stroll cause I had to get out but now I’m going to hang out with mom in front of the wood stove and practice seeing how many balls I can fit in my mouth .It’s a Golden thing, you probably wouldn’t understand. Life of Chum.
He loves the beach in the off season. In summer we take him to the beaches accessible only by boat so he can be free.
A morning at Sandbanks Park after a storm. The beaches are always beautiful and a great place to shed your stress. Burgeo
I don’t know what any of you think but I love these pictures of a wave breaking on first beach , Sandbanks. They are as loud as you can imagine.
We barely got out for runs in forever so I was so excited that mom couldn’t even get a posed picture from me. I’m so excited to run the beaches, leave Chum smell everywhere, eat fresh from the waves seaweed and do zoomies. Can you tell I live Sandbanks?! Life of Chum.
The aftermath of yesterday’s storm. The second beach at Sandbanks is gorgeous even if the seas are still raging.
