#NirvanaInFire And boy did he learn it. Prince Jing is working through abt 50-11 different emotions & thoughts in this scene — and he still keeps his shit together enough to effectively team up w/MCS to dismantle Xia Jiang’s arguments. As I’ve said before: put some respect on Xiao Jingyan’s name.

#NirvanaInFire This scene is also why it’s so interesting that at the beginning of the series everyone (probably rightly at the time) insists he’s ill-suited to politics — because none of them (except for MCS) quite get that governance is a skill and discipline that has to be learned.
