You can definitely feel the age though. Lots of clunky puzzles and confusing areas that made me wish for a map. Also I'd probably play it on PC as opposed to Switch. Turns out Point-and-Click without the pointing and clicking is annoying to control. Check it out if you dig quirky, curious games.

I enjoyed the characters a lot, despite a lot of them being really obstinate. It's kinda charming how many excuses they all find to prevent you from proceeding, even though it does wear thin eventually. Protagonist Kate Walker's exasperation makes it funny too, and the voice work is solid enough.

The first game's theming is a bit stronger, focusing on solving puzzles revolving around said old man's clockwork automatons. The second game is a bit more generic by comparison, but flows from the first game well enough that it wasn't a bother.
