Got it. There's plenty of funding to send troops into harm’s way, but not to take care of their health afterwards. This is shameful.
We’re glad that Kristi Noem has been fired and she should face real accountability for DHS’ rampant violence.
But Noem’s firing doesn’t suddenly solve the crisis at DHS. Swapping personnel without changing course is not accountability — it’s a spin tactic. What we really need is structural change.
Kristi Noem has done a stunning amount of damage and it’s good she’s gone.
But this doesn’t change the fact that we need a complete overhaul of DHS, impartial investigations into the killings of two American citizens, and information on children that were taken from Minnesota.
Well would you look at that
TODAY: The House is expected to vote on legislation aimed at stopping Trump’s war with Iran.
The American people do not want another forever war in the Middle East. Urge your representative to support the War Powers Resolution to rein in Trump and prevent further military operations in Iran.
AOC: This is about actual crimes happening in front of us. This is about shredding the Constitution and plunging us into war. This is about taking crypto money and money laundering… So if you’re asking me if I’d support impeachment, I do
Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys says it's important to the band to visit the Minneapolis site where federal agents shot and killed Alex Pretti. They will perform a free acoustic set at an anti-ICE fundraiser there, arguing the killing represents a profound shift in American society.
A vote to fund the war is a vote for the war. Full stop.
Minnesota residents’ collective response to the surge has ricocheted across the internet, captivated the country’s attention and given the state a new identity.

The video of a United States Senator joining the violent removal of U.S. marine from a hearing and hideously breaking his arm in a door is an example of what has been unleashed in this country. They’re tapping in to get in on the violence.
And then he bragged about it on X later.
McGovern: How the hell is this America first? You guys broke your top campaign promise. Good luck with that. I hope the defense contractor money was worth it. Shame on you all. The mask is off. You're all just a bunch of pathetic Neocon Warmongers.

Abolish ICE is not a minority position .

For years on my old blog I published the names of servicemembers who died in Iraq & Afghanistan. No other outlets were.
These are the first 4 Americans to die in the Iran War.
Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35

Tillis: You decided to kill that dog because you had not invested the appropriate time in training it, and then you have the audacity to say it’s a leadership lesson. You killed a goat and said it was behaving badly. You’re a farmer — you don’t castrate a goat, they behave badly.
Chris Murphy: "It's just so disgusting to listen to the president be waxing poetically about the drapes he's buying while there are six Americans who are dead. There are six families who are about to bury their children because of a war of choice that no one in this country wanted, an illegal war."
I dunno guys. I kinda feel like the administration overplayed their hand starting a war to distract from ICE to distract from the economy to distract from the Epstein Files...

Dear DHS agents: the presidential pardon power only extends to federal crimes.
State charges can still be brought.

Of course. No one wanted this war. They wanted food and health care and energy prices to go down. Now all those things will cost more.
It's a war of folly by a doddering old man who likes when things blow up and needs to distract us from the child sex ring he's connected to.
Trump promised no new wars and has engaged in military action in Iran, Venezuela, Yemen, Somalia, Nigeria, Syria and Iraq.
Trump promised to end the Russia-Ukraine war in 24 hours. It's still raging a year later.
Kaine on Fox: "The president can act to defend US against imminent attack without congressional approval. But if you're going to initiate war, you need Congress. The president not only did not come to Congress, he acted without even notification to the vast majority of us. This is an illegal war."
www.nytimes.com/live/2026/02... who could have guessed? The death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who ruled his nation with an iron fist for nearly 37 years, raised the prospect of chaos and a power vacuum in an already turbulent region.
At 8:30 PM on Saturday night we have ICE in the quarry parking lot and they start driving off erratically through the City the minute people go up and try to talk to them. Their lawlessness and terror continues so please continue to be out there looking out for your neighbors and staying safe.
