That's another reason why I love the Bluesky community so much. Thank you! The cover is still working for now, but I'd love to take you up on that offer if needed.

Thank you! Iβm so happy with the result. These cameras are truly top-notch and a joy to shoot β though I wish theyβd used something more durable than plastic for the battery cover... thatβs the only 'hmmm' part! π But it was definitely worth the effort.

A black and white analog photograph of a heavy, dark metal church door standing wide open against a weathered stone wall. The masonry is made of large, textured blocks. To the left of the entrance, a pile of loose cobblestones sits on a paved ground with a fan-shaped pattern. A vertical drainage pipe runs down the right side of the wall. The film grain adds a raw, timeless quality to the scene, emphasizing the contrast between the dark doorway and the sunlit stone.

Nothing like the smell of fixer in the morning.
Shot this on film and developed it myself in the sink. If the composition doesn't move you, at least appreciate that I didn't ruin the negatives π

Those are really good cameras. I'm still missing them in my collection π’
Thanks for the information. I'll check it out
Haha, thanks. As long as it doesn't work... π
Yes, it is otherwise in very good condition. I received it like this and hope to find a solution to get it working again."
Thank you for your quick reply.
1) The camera's shutter release is still locked. It seems like the shutter might be half-cocked.
2) It feels like something internally. I have also tried with single and multi exposure, as well as with and without the lens, and with and without film.
Having a Mamiya 330 in my hands for the first time.
Those things are huge! π
Unfortunately, the film advance crank is stuck and won't move. I've tried a lot of things already, but to no avail. Does anyone have an idea before I open it up?

Digging through the archives and found this one! Not my best shot, I'll admit, but it's from the first time I had a go with a 4x5 inch (SINAR P2) camera. Loved the process! This photo marks the start of a journey.

This is a high-contrast, black-and-white photograph of a man standing under a light at night. A round, white concrete pillar divides the image vertically, with the left half completely in a dark shadow. The man stands on the right side of the pillar, bathed in a strong light from above and to his right. He is wearing a t-shirt, shorts, and a cap, and faces the camera. A long, dark shadow of his body is cast on the ground in front of him. Behind him is a building with a corrugated metal wall, illuminated by the same light source.
The last frames on the roll: A passerby, a fleeting moment, a spontaneous shot. Sometimes the unplanned shots are the most exciting.

Glad to hear you're an Ilford fan too! Thanks so much for your kind words and the compliment
An analog black and white photograph captures a stage moments before a jazz concert. The dimly lit scene features an upright bass standing prominently on the left, its reflective surface catching the faint light. To its right, a drum kit and a microphone stand are set up, awaiting the musicians. The overall atmosphere is one of quiet anticipation, characteristic of the calm before a live performance.

Analog photo of a building and a tree at night, illuminated by soft light. Great mood.

Turns out, ordinary buildings look pretty epic when shot on film after dark. And that tree... A true natural model.

I'm very happy about that.
A black and white photograph captures the illuminated entrance of a building at night. The architectural lines of the steps and overhead canopy are emphasized by the contrast of light and shadow, with a subtle glow from the "SPARKASSE" sign in the distance.

That's a good question: with my Retina camera, it's possible to advance the film during exposure. I don't think that was ever intended. π
