Yeah give it a shot! Obviously it won't work in some cases, but could be a way to get extra protein or veg in the diet.
Also, if they like soups, pureed soups would be a great way to hide it. My gf and I just had a pumpkin and squash soup that once pureed and mixed up, you'd never know had squash.
Quick baseline question: Have you tried blending or pureeing things they don't like, into food they do like?
Ex: pureeing the ground beef into the spaghetti sauce so it's not noticeable.
