Why does our Prime Minister hate the rules based international order so much?
Written on the bottom βThis is fine china.β
These hills fill my soul.
Iβm not even saying I agree with all the policy in my field (health) but everything I have seen has been a) creative b) thought through and c) having industry expert input. 3 things that are generally lacking from what we currently see coming out of parliament.
Say what you want about NZ Labour but they are using their time in opposition to work on and release policy to a degree that makes the 2017-2023 Nats look like a bunch of muppets.
Scarred by the experience of trusting the experts on COVID and saving 20,000 people in the process.

There are products that do this very thing and promote themselves on this basis - seamlessness. But modern doctors are trained in data guardianship and have a visceral reaction to outside systems having access to our patient notes. I think this is why Heidi has risen to the top of the pile for us.
We get warnings on day 13 for the 14 day delete. But yeah, the busy clinician phenomenon is the underlying issue. My biggest concern in all of this is itβll be pushed on us so that we can be even busier. Iβm on board with this in order to make my life easier, not cram more in!

Itβs possible to design an AI notes transcription system to copy it directly into the notes immediately and then delete the data from outside of the system but this would mean giving access to the patient notes and I would not prepared to do that at this stage.
The deidentified transcript and note is stored on Heidiβs regional server, in our case Australia (Sydney I believe) until it is deleted or autodeleted. Keeping it there at all is only to give time to copy it into the notes or convert it into a referral letter etc.
Sent by the highest of industry standard protocols (ISO27001, SOC2). Once the note is transferred into the patient management system it is stored wherever your patient management system stores its data. (Local server or local cloud usually).
I have mine set to 14 days but the note that it generated from the transcript is manually copied into the patientβs file at the time of the consult or just after. Itβs not a seamless process, but itβs highly secure.
Heidi doesnβt record audio at all. It writes a transcript as you talk without saving any audio data. The transcript is anonymized before it gets sent from the device and only get stored for a specified number of days.
And a boyfriend called Daniel.
And has her own pet cat.
And yet here I am out on yesterdayβs run. What a difference a day makes.
And a bit further along.
Todayβs road trip. Got through to Dunedin before they started closing roads.
Ballroom? But thatβs why I manspread!
plot of Govt GDP per capita vs Govt spend per capita. Quote from Judith's letter reads: 'Only by NZ becoming wealthier can we afford to spend more'
Damn, I read Judith's letter! I'll leave the politics to others, but, lord, the Govt spending stuff is REALLY BAD! I'll try and keep this short.
First up, this bare-faced lie. The countries in the pink circle have a similar-sized economy to NZ. Govt spending is a lot higher in all but one . [𧡠1/n]
The Antichrist says what?
She was the candidate of the centre left and the best likely chance of a comparatively mediocre bunch.
