I love this bandage from c.1900 featuring illustrations on how to wrap wounds resulting from accidents involving a soldier, a sailor, a miner, and a woman whose clothes have caught fire. This amazing object is part of the Wellcome Collection in London.

Here's the second project from this week, with yet another famous artwork as inspiration. The Year 5 children from Summerhill created their own version of Lowry's 'Coming out of school'. I think Mr Lowry would've enjoyed watching them make this. 🙂👍

Hearing today that Community Link Workers are being cut by 25%. 🤬

Literally the last strand of pupil support available to schools and there’s going to be less of it. Attendance figures and mental health are going to deteriorate.

Checking my emails it actually only took about a week looking at my emails though it said 8 weeks in what they sent me. That was 3 years ago though.

If you’ve had an LPA then at least you’ve got a handle on her finances. Our probate certificate came through quite quickly as the threshold for tax wasn’t reached. It took me about a month to sort it.
