I never really paid them much attention!
I never really paid them much attention!
I saw a (gold-ish coloured) car on the motorway earlier that had the number plate RB13 ENA, and I've never wanted a car to be purple so badly in all my life.
I didnβt think Iβd get this www.playcardle.com as I didnβt recognise it allβ¦or so i thought
I think itβs 1946 or so thatβs rare
I like those sort of things that link the car to its history
Might be worth something if its the right date!
Some might say I have too many cars. Not me, and probably not the enablers on social media, but like a graceful (me?) swan gliding down the road, theres lots of paddling out of sight to keep them all running and legal Link in the comments
The four Mirages of the Altimalypse
Having a mumble on the TeaBreak channel, about how YouTube has become more grown up and we cant just mess about like we used to. People expect results, dammit!!
Apparently in Japan, drivers hide a coin in a car for good luck. Ive not found one in my Eunos Roadster, so when I found this 10 Yen coin it had to go and hide in there.
Its a 1981 coin for anyone interested, and a 1989 car
Its a very niche car to want, the lizard skin might put people off, plus the scale it was built at makes it hard to drive
The Withnail and I Rolls I reviewed last week is going through Historics Auctioneers today. It had Β£188,000 spent on restoration, but the guide price is only Β£95-Β£110k. Is someone getting a bargain?
If you've not seen it, this one off Silver Wraith is something else (video link in the comments)
Thats 2 new channels to watch!
The Suzuki Hustler is a super fun Kei car only sold in Japan, a tiny city car with big outdoors ideas! See the full review on Furious Driving youtube, link in the comments
It would be different
it is, I kind of want one now
Small or far away?
This week Ive been doing the Hustle (doo doo doo da dooty da doo do) and got to try a Suzuki Hustler - like a Hummer but tiny!

Im sure Ive driven cars like that!
Thanks, it was gamble but I had confidence it would work on them - R50 Mini wheels!
Theres a perfectly balanced 'looks like I took it in Japan' picture I want to get here, but people keep parking in the spot I need.
So this is take 2, better than yesterday but still not there!
I had to snow foam this after a winter under the car port, it was thick with dust and sand that had blown under, and I need to machine polish it again as its gone flat (but looks OK in pictures)
Shock #1: Its Sunny! Had to get the Eunos out, first time this year!
Shock #2: How is this Β£31 a month to tax???
Also, does anyone else remember J Tuner magazine?
those are best when you have the shitty AI background, but the car is covered in reflections of a messy council estate garden full of broken trampolines and over flowing bins
it's just paragraphs of meaningless drivel. Yes I know how many doors it's got and yes thats a particularly fetching shade of puce, but as you say, has it ever been serviced and is it rusty?
I hate AI so much
They all do this. And it feels like a reflection on the humans behind them, whose inflated careers are built on never admitting they donβt know the answer. The βsmartest people in the roomβ if βsmartβ just means glib and facile, turning out lies with complete conviction.
Im finally reading Fahrenheit 451.
Aside from being an excellent book (its a deserving classic, not all are: See On the Road) with its themes of state control, dumbing down media to 30 second clips and quick wars of distraction, its alarmingly prescient, I can see why they banned it
