I saw a (gold-ish coloured) car on the motorway earlier that had the number plate RB13 ENA, and I've never wanted a car to be purple so badly in all my life.
I didn’t think I’d get this www.playcardle.com as I didn’t recognise it all…or so i thought
I think it’s 1946 or so that’s rare
I like those sort of things that link the car to its history
Might be worth something if its the right date!

Apparently in Japan, drivers hide a coin in a car for good luck. Ive not found one in my Eunos Roadster, so when I found this 10 Yen coin it had to go and hide in there.
Its a 1981 coin for anyone interested, and a 1989 car
Its a very niche car to want, the lizard skin might put people off, plus the scale it was built at makes it hard to drive
The Withnail and I Rolls I reviewed last week is going through Historics Auctioneers today. It had £188,000 spent on restoration, but the guide price is only £95-£110k. Is someone getting a bargain?

Theres a perfectly balanced 'looks like I took it in Japan' picture I want to get here, but people keep parking in the spot I need.

I had to snow foam this after a winter under the car port, it was thick with dust and sand that had blown under, and I need to machine polish it again as its gone flat (but looks OK in pictures)

They all do this. And it feels like a reflection on the humans behind them, whose inflated careers are built on never admitting they don’t know the answer. The ‘smartest people in the room’ if ‘smart’ just means glib and facile, turning out lies with complete conviction.

Aside from being an excellent book (its a deserving classic, not all are: See On the Road) with its themes of state control, dumbing down media to 30 second clips and quick wars of distraction, its alarmingly prescient, I can see why they banned it
