Attempted to do a digital and magazine subscription to the @theatlantic.com but must sign up for auto renewal. This is a deal breaker and I am disappointed. I’ve spent hours undoing auto renewal over the years and still can’t get some cancelled.

I rarely comment but this is the most disturbing UnAmerican post I have ever seen. My family fought in the Revolutionary War, Civil War and WW2. My ancestors did not sacrifice so this behavior could be normalized.

Same. My dad died when I was 5 also. Such a lack of understanding that families that lose parents get payments from what the deceased parent paid and it is sorely needed.

I am from Southern Illinois - my family has been there since the 1820’s. I left Illinois in 1980’s after graduation from U of I. To say you are unpopular in my home town and w my family is an understatement. I listened to the Podcast because I keep hearing your name as a real leader. Glad I did.
