...and e-bikes are expensive. E-bikes are a fraught political topic these days. Public policy around them, despite many of our best efforts, is still in flux.
Adoption is fantastic - I am over the moon. But there are barriers & complications. And that's where I mean sadly.
because I wish that it didn't need to be the "E-" in front... but this is about a modal change, and lubricating user adoption. Bikes, acoustic, by themselves SHOULD be good enough everywhere (in America), but *sadly* we have an infrastructure that's car-centric. It'll take E-bikes.
