Ruifs are cowpt, peels perisht.

What's ironic about the GCs/Terfs etc is they all claim to stand up for women's rights but you never see them challenge why farage and others cosy up to groups who want to ban abortion, ban women from voting etc
You never see them challenge and confront actual abusers. It's all just a grift
How come the media isn't reporting what is going on in universities? The implications of this (and this is just 1 of many universities doing the same) are terrifying. For the local populations, for the towns affected, for the next generation, for research & development, for the future! #academicsky

Brigid and I kept commenting that they were trying really hard to craft a Shakespearean tragedy
I canβt help but wonder if itβs because
the current British monarchy traces its lineage to William, and itβs the BBC so they have to portray the monarch and his ancestors charitably
keep thinking about how strange it is that the BBCβs King and Conqueror series portrayed Harold as a conniving usurper and William as the rightful legitimate ruler. itβs somehow even less charitable to Harold than William of Poitiers
I've written about mead and its popular perception for The Conversation. theconversation.com/the-truth-ab... Mildly concerned that by pointing out that the Vikings (probably) didn't drink (much) mead, I will have annoyed all the re-enactors, many of whom have swords oh dear.
