I have never seen the sheer amount of straight up, obvious, lying done by dozens of major news outlets about this story.

I'm well used to unfair framing/strategic lack of coverage but this blatant lying to their own consumers is something I've never encountered in the U.S. The ubiquity of it.

Habitually using gender-neutral language is harmful when used in a context where it may appear to disregard a person's gender identity.

I generally (not 100%) try to use gender-neutral language but I suppose in this case it's counterproductive.

I'm sorry if that comes across as me not respecting her and who she is. I apologize and will try to be more conscious about how that may be perceived going forward.
