I’ve struggled to find words to talk about the UK this week because it’s so cynical it doesn’t even need an explainer. It’s bald-faced. I came up with better lies skipping class in middle school. Reposting because it captures a lot of my thoughts already.

It’s essential we find common language to talk about the abuse of “evidence” and evidentiary standards. We have to. For trans rights, abortion, vaccines… for medicine itself. So many of us tried to object within the sciences years ago and were rebuffed that good faith would win out. It hasn’t.
