I assume any MTX is gonna get refunded either forcefully or willingly, i dont see a world steam and playstation dont refund cause the charge backs are 100% going to be valid.

really depends on what they planned for the shadow drop. pay for the steam banner thing and slap made by the developers of titan fall 2 and pay for a ton of streamers to play (litterally how they did apex legends release) and you can generate alot of buzz.

Here is how a voice acting org can oppose AI

AI company: We want you to sign over your talents likeness to us because you hold a majority handle on acting in the states

SAG: No we wont agree to this and so if you use our talents we will sue you.

they could not willingly sign a contract with an AI voice company that sells their talents voices to AI????

I very actively avoid SAG voice acting projects if i can. SAG is a hollywood union, hollywood does NOT think voice actors are "valuable"

and like would then not respond when you ask them why havent hard terms in a negotation is illegal...

SAG had public press releases bragging about their AI voice actor partnership that relased before and after the big boy cott

it was telling they werent sincere because they were "boycotting" companies that allready had anti AI policies.

The people who defended that statement/press release by saying "well they cant just be against ai, they wouldnt be allowed to negotiate" had to be some of the most disingenous arguements id ever seen.

SAG was never fighting against genAI they were just upset they werent the ones who were being paid

the official sag position ON THEIR WEBSITE for years was they had an AI partner. they were never ever against it.

It’s funny if you call PayPal or visa lines and bring this up asking why they claim “adult illustrations” is against their regulations but betting on the death of kids is totally fine. They don’t have an answer.
