I hate and do not use printers at work. So much so, that I never bothered to look at any printer security settings in our environment since I started 12mo ago. I now find that no-one even did basic printnightmare remediations... there are at least 8 print servers for 3000 clients π
Bleugh... dev stuff is horrid. But I did the thing, now let me keep my damn Intune tenant, Microsoft!
grantdickins.co.uk/2023/12/16/P...
π Grr.. being warned again that my dev Intune tenant isn't active. I don't want to do icky dev stuff, I want/need to test all the flakey Intune profiles before I f'up my clients prod. Let us admins have a test environment without stupid conditions.
Happy Halloween
I expected a lot more "dishwasher" responses.
"Acorn for my valentine"
"My Cashew Romance"

Yes, lets throw a bunch of peoples time and effort into pissing about with bing enterprise whilst the fad is still popular. Forget all the technical debt we've got, those 3 legacy domains and archaic finance systems don't matter anymore - right?
I mostly just see jenmsft's...uh...posts? and a few others. haven't really tweaked anything. I think the key is not to follow people who post porn or other offensive shit constantly.
Today has been really sucky, but i know for sure tomorrow will be 10/10
finally got round to watching season 1 of firefly after years of people being shocked at me for never seeing it.
...can't wait for the next season
People always ask, "Where is Bigfoot?" They never ask, "How is Bigfoot?"
Yeti never complains...
I couldn't think of something clever to reply with, so I'll reply with a screenshot of my smartphone homescreen.
NEVER use AD sites for cfgmgr boundaries unless you have absolute total control over AD sites also. But also, don't use AD sites and services becasue legacy shit is shit π©
that's not late to the party at all!
I resemble that remark! π
maybe this is why our support tickets are so slow to get responses, or why the incident manager isn't getting a response from the MS staff. they're all too busy playing teams minesweeper
New Teams now has Games for work... who the hell at MS greenlit that!? FGS π€¦
Love this new Windows Back up consumer tool that's magically appeared on all out enterprise machines. Really useful for corporate machines. So glad it can't be removed either.

Yeah, I had a habit of misspelling "Kind regards,"... nearly got in trouble a few times. π«
$client hired an icecream truck for 3 hours and put a tannoy out to say go get free icecream.
A real nice "F*** you" to all us lactose intolerant/milk alergy people. π
Procmon showed ticking the box calls reg.exe but silently fails because it's disabled. I'd say it's a bug, but seems more like lazy coding IMO. 2/2
If your IT Env is anything like Every.Client.I've.Ever.Worked.At and you set 'Prevent access to registry editing tools' for std users - you're gonna have fun with New Teams.
Users won't be able to register it as default chat app, so no presence in Outlook. 1/2
What I really wanted was a Scottish flower party.
But I had to settle for a Thistle doo.
