You would think they would be as motivated vs Spurs as the Knicks. But they were not in the rematch. There was a considerable lack of concerted course correction and focus.

Same goes to Cavs.

A big sign is Pistons are top dog in east so they can’t get away with being unpredictable

Pistons need better inclusion of guys.

It feels like that better and more inclusive team basketball on half court possessions and defense is key.

The Celtics and Cavs (and Knicks) all look super dangerous now when the Pistons appear to be in major turbulence.

Jenkins difficulty to finish at the basket in traffic is because he lacks strength.

You need to be strong to begin the half court possession and drive to score.

Cade can. Jenkins can’t. And I think he needs to avoid those plays on beginning of possession.

That is without a doubt they will use spot for someone.

I doubt it will be an “exciting” player. I would temper expectations b/c Pistons worried about extensions.

I don’t think Pistons suffer from a lack of urgency or effort.

They are not being outworked.

I think they are not communicating well on court.

Tonight you see it is easier because they are more in sync.
