the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

The project of new year is to avoid alghorithm poisoning and brainrot. No Youtube except when absolutely necessary (repair tutorial etc), no memes, no Twitter Insta or Tiktok. Also no research on some sudden special interest that pops up into my mind. No culture wars. More signal, less noise.
