So, predictably, the Black Dahlia video is "underperforming," as the SEO slags say, and most of the comments are about how to pronounce the word "Dahlia." I think most "content creators" would be disappointed spending 6 months making a video that gets record low views. But I'm actually not.

a man reads a pamphlet about how to get too good at cunnelingus. Around him all is chaos and ruin. It's pretty much 'Ozymandias' but a pussy joke.

FYI for fellow narrative designers/game writers: the studio in question is Sentona Games and it’s my understanding they are currently interviewing to replace me. Be very careful with them. They were very nice to me and easy to work with right up until I needed the money I was promised.

Thanks to technology, bananas are becoming obsolete as pretend phones. The future belongs to the Pop-Tart.

Onfim’s drawing of himself on horseback as a warrior defeating an enemy.

Onfim’s drawing of himself on horseback as a warrior defeating an enemy.

Two of Onfim’s works. On the left is a copy of a passage from the Book of Psalms he did for schoolwork. On the right is an apparently autobiographical depiction of a monster labeled with β€œI am a wild beast.”

Some more spelling practice by Onfim with some human figures who have round heads and varying numbers of fingers on their big hands.

Onfim’s writing practice accompanied by 7 little people in his particular drawing style, who tend to have very big hands with many fingers.

Nice AI-image-generating tool, but it will never be as great an artist as Onfim, a child who lived in the Novgorod Republic in the mid-1200s and who scribbled these drawings and schoolwork writings on birch bark at the age of 6 or 7.

Tonight I started watching Industry from season 1 because people I trust enjoy it. I tried it when it debuted but the”business” setting out me off. Now I am assuming that all the business language they use is made up, like in Patriot, and it worked.

This classic Nancy is a reminder of how much swearing the strip used to feature. Newspaper owners didn't like it, but the strip was so popular they had no choice but to run it uncensored. It was a different time

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST WINTER STORM, REMEMBER FOUR TIPS:
1. FILL UP YOUR TUB AND/OR POTS WITH WATER FOR YOUR TOILET.
2. DO NOT USE PROPANE HEATERS INDOORS. THE FUMES KILL.
3. EVERYONE STAYING IN ONE ROOM CONSOLIDATES WARMTH.
4. THE NORWEGIAN CAMP DIDN'T DESTROY ITSELF. ONE OF YOU IS THE THING.

Everyone knows about Bartleby the Scrivener, but few have heard of Turkey the Scrivener, Nippers the Scrivener, or Ginger Nut the office-boy. The ensemble cast really makes the story shine.

among my favorite French Revolution details: the King's cousin, the Duke of Orleans, was so shook by the events of the revolution that he not only voted to execute his cousin but legally changed his name to Equality Phil.

it's simply not healthy to look directly at the rays. that's not a "blue sky" that's Cherenkov glow. some tweets should have "DROP AND RUN" engraved on them.

My second novel, THE KNIGHT WATCH, will be published by Orbit in June this year. It features the Knights of the Round Table killing Nazis and living their messy queer afterlives during the Second World War. I'll be sharing the wonderful cover art as soon as I'm permitted to do so.

This is perhaps one of many reasons why it won't be published in the US any time soon. As I said at WFC in Brighton: Ballantine Books, who published Perilous Times in the US, wanted me to cut a major queer storyline from the book. When I refused to makes those edits, they cancelled the contract.

Are ya worried about the price of RAM and what it means for video games?

Do you fondly remember when console prices used to go down over time, not up?

Are you nostalgic for physical video games and midnight launches?

Does Fortnite just leave you kinda confused?

Well, here's what I think...
